The first challenge to everyone’s day was navigating around streets blocked off for the Fargo Marathon and luckily our first locations weren’t too difficult reach. Sara and the ladies got into their fabulous dresses at the couple’s house which was right on the marathon route. How often do you get your own parade and cheering crowds on your wedding day?

The wind really blew during the ceremony at the Fargo Country Club but the tent’s walls kept everything from blowing away. The Country Club was fabulous, the toasts were great, Tables 7 and 8 were rowdy and The Front Fenders had the joint jumping all night.

The beautiful couple was married in early March all the way up in Langdon, North Dakota (an hour or so north of Grand Forks) with a reception in tiny Olsnabrock. Though the knew each other in high school, Mikaela and Olnick didn’t start dating until a few years later. According to Mikaela’s dad, it was a long time coming and we are sure happy they finally decided they were meant to be!

Britta and I spent the day in Jamestown taking in the fun and making photos of the excitement and here’s just a few to share with you.

Penny and I had a great time documenting their wedding at First Lutheran Church in downtown Fargo. The reception was held at the (gorgeous) Fargo Country Club.

Drew (and his family) own Corwin Automotive Group in Fargo… so, of course, autos were represented.

Great locations all around for Katherine and Mark’s wedding day – Hotel Donaldson, St. Joe’s and the Plains Art Museum. Just a great winter wedding.

Lynn was gorgeous in her simple dress and Briar added a lot of personality to the standard tux. Warm light flooded Trinity Lutheran during the ceremony which was a real bonus for a winter wedding. The reception at the NDSU Alumni Center was very intimate – it felt more like a fun family dinner than 200 person party.

It was a great day – thanks for letting us be a part of it, Lynn and Briar.

Lindsay and Brandon rocked their wedding day. The weather was colder and wetter than we’d hoped but they were total troopers. Fun and laughter lasted all day at the salon, Hope South and really picked up at Mick’s Office where there is now a ceiling tile dedicated to the couple.

They were married at Nativity Catholic Church in Fargo with a reception at the Radisson Hotel in downtown Fargo. I was joined by the always fabulous Mo.
