Sam and Parker met quite a few years ago during confirmation class at United Methodist Church in Fargo, the very church where they were hitched. After all these years, Sam has kept the promise ring Parker gave her way back when. It was so great the she incorporated it into their day.

Sam had been working on her killer arm muscles to prepare for the big day. We had to grab a shot for her personal trainer.

Both Sam and Parker are very, very proud of the fact that they attended Concordia College in Moorhead… so, naturally, we had to take a few portraits at the local college. Oh, and did you know that it’s bad luck to walk under the bell tower until your married? The happy couple was thrilled to finally walk under the tower as husband and wife!

Their cocktail reception and dance was held at the Fargo Country Club.

Kristen and Kyle had a beautiful wedding in downtown Fargo at First Presbyterian Church and reception at the Avalon. The church is absolutely one of the best places in town to photograph a ceremony and Kristen and Kyle looked great in this backdrop.

Dave and Ann Arbor Miller photographed Tiffany’s sister Carissa’s wedding to Brad last year. It was great to hang out with another Milestones Photography bride and to see the special relationship Tiffany and Carissa have together. In fact, both families seemed super close and were a great part of the wedding day.

Tiffany and Andy were married and celebrated at Ramada Plaza & Suites in Fargo. Their day was as awesome as I expected (if not a little more awesome). But, don’t let me tell you. Here are some photos to tell their wedding day story. (On a side note, there were a lot of favorites from their day. So, this is really just a taste).

Shortly after this picture was taken, Tiffany’s veil blew off in the wind … straight up. Luckily, Andy fetched it.

A fun family tradition…. the groom must wear a ball and chain until the bride chooses to remove it. Apparently, poor Andy wore his for more than an hour. By the way, that’s a real bowling ball on that chain.

The weather was great for outdoor photos and we had a lot of fun at Island Park. We had a fun moment with Kaela and some unsuspecting tennis players by convincing them to pose for a photo.

Their simple ceremony took place at the quaint St. Benedict’s Catholic Church in St. Benedict (South of Fargo) with a fun, laid back reception at the Red River Zoo in Fargo.

The first challenge to everyone’s day was navigating around streets blocked off for the Fargo Marathon and luckily our first locations weren’t too difficult reach. Sara and the ladies got into their fabulous dresses at the couple’s house which was right on the marathon route. How often do you get your own parade and cheering crowds on your wedding day?

The wind really blew during the ceremony at the Fargo Country Club but the tent’s walls kept everything from blowing away. The Country Club was fabulous, the toasts were great, Tables 7 and 8 were rowdy and The Front Fenders had the joint jumping all night.

The beautiful couple was married in early March all the way up in Langdon, North Dakota (an hour or so north of Grand Forks) with a reception in tiny Olsnabrock. Though the knew each other in high school, Mikaela and Olnick didn’t start dating until a few years later. According to Mikaela’s dad, it was a long time coming and we are sure happy they finally decided they were meant to be!
