Engagements: Jess & Jess

Yes, this happy couple is (are?) both named Jess so it will be easy to get their attention on their wedding day.

Jess is a former student of mine at MSUM and Jess is a pilot so we made some photos at the West Fargo airport where it just so happens that Jess took Jess flying for the very first time.

Hmmm…maybe this could get confusing. Ha.

Elizabeth and Tom were in town from the East Coast to work on their wedding plans and have a fun engagement session. Elizabeth embraced her inner-North Dakota by breaking the winter boots and awesome leggings! Can’t wait for the wedding day!

We haven’t posted any engagement photos in a couple of months and we need to catch up! I’ll start off the catchin’ up with our two most recent sessions. Amanda and James started their session at the Plains Art Museum before we headed out into the what-seemed-warm-at-the-time 20 degree weather for a few photos around downtown.

Rebecca and Bryan were at the studio and of course brought their first child.

Cathy & John, along with Cathy’s little girl Jada and their adorable pup Layla, visited us last week. We took some pictures in the studio due to the frigid weather outside… and kept it nice and warm. This beautiful couple is getting hitched this June… and I can hardly wait for their wedding!

September Engagements

W’oh this fall has really flown by! September has come and gone, and here we are in October.

September was a really tightly packed, yet fun month of weddings, graduate, children and engagement photos. So tightly packed in fact that I’ve been behind in my blog posting! So, without further ado, here are some of my favorite photos from four engagement sessions in September. Enjoy!

First up, Christina and Aaron, a high energy and super photogenic couple who were actually married September 20th. They flew in from Texas for their wedding, so, we had a quick session the Monday prior to their nuptials.

Next up, the lovely Heidi and Rob (or Bob, depending). I can’t wait to post some photos from their beautiful wedding last weekend.

And last, but certainly not least, Anna and Chris who will be married this December. Yeah for holiday weddings!
