The clouds teased us most of the day and the only rain we saw was in the five minutes that the bridal party needed to walk to the covered ceremony site at Trollwood. A little bit of water didn’t ruin a thing and just added to the great story of their day.

His PRIDE and JOY … get it?!

Well it was but that was the only part of Christine and Casey’s wedding day that was below par. The beautiful home of Casey’s parents was a spectacular backdrop for their day. The entire day had an intimate feel regardless the number of people that attended. The joy everyone shared is wonderful!

With competition for ceremony and reception venues we see more Friday and sometimes Sunday weddings. Lynn and Briar were our first ever Monday wedding right after Christmas.

Lynn was gorgeous in her simple dress and Briar added a lot of personality to the standard tux. Warm light flooded Trinity Lutheran during the ceremony which was a real bonus for a winter wedding. The reception at the NDSU Alumni Center was very intimate – it felt more like a fun family dinner than 200 person party.

It was a great day – thanks for letting us be a part of it, Lynn and Briar.

The low, fall sun shown through the stained glass windows most of the afternoon and created great light. Melissa looked fantastic in her dress and the bridesmaids were awesome in classic black.

The entire day was a great celebration and ended with high energy reception and dance at the Courtyard. Congratulations Melissa and Landon!
