Beautiful day! Torrential rain! Beautiful evening!

That’s the short version of Ame and Sean’s wedding day at Fair Hills Resort on Pelican Lake. The longer version starts with great weather for portraits with Ame, Sean and their kids all around the resort. The torrential rain portion of our day was just prior to the ceremony but the weather cleared in time for a great celebration under the tent.

Between the funky weather and the great location there are way more photos here than usual … enjoy!

A few weeks ago, I was able to photograph two of my favorite little clients at their home in south Fargo. Big brother Heath and his little bro Pierce are a fun pair and we had a blast rolling around in the grass at a nearby park then hanging out it their uber cool rec room at their home.

Another super-fun session with the always super-cute Morgan, Mya and Channing! I never get tired of taking photos of them and we had a great time recently in their backyard.

This adorable couple is getting hitched June 2011 in Dublin. I could only dream of photographing that wedding! Luckily, I was able to take some engagement portraits of Kaitlyn and Cody in downtown Fargo.

Sara & Rick

Fun! Excitement! Blocked streets! Gale force winds! Sara and Rick’s wedding had it all and we were so glad to be there to photograph it.

The first challenge to everyone’s day was navigating around streets blocked off for the Fargo Marathon and luckily our first locations weren’t too difficult reach. Sara and the ladies got into their fabulous dresses at the couple’s house which was right on the marathon route. How often do you get your own parade and cheering crowds on your wedding day?

The wind really blew during the ceremony at the Fargo Country Club but the tent’s walls kept everything from blowing away. The Country Club was fabulous, the toasts were great, Tables 7 and 8 were rowdy and The Front Fenders had the joint jumping all night.

…but I’ll let the photos tell the rest of the story.

Sara definitely added a little glamour Mick’s Office.

Rick’s grandpa keeping the tent from blowing away.

Jerry Lee Lewis has nothing on Rick’s dad.
