Labor Day weekend was a blast with Breanna and Tom’s wedding. A great ceremony at Hope South and a rockin’ reception at the Radisson. Jay and I had a difficult time keeping up but the fun photos made all the hard work worth it.
Here’s slice of what happend on their wedding day.
Penny and I had a good time photographing Lorrie and Dave’s August wedding at Sts. Anne & Joachim Catholic Church in Fargo. The couple choose not to see each other before hand, so keeping them apart proved to be quite a task! But, alas, the first glimpse they had of each other was when Lorrie walked down the aisle with her parents.
We had loads of time after the ceremony, so, we tooled around Fargo taking photographs, making a special stop in Moorhead at Lorrie’s favorite college bar… Mick’s Office!
They liked each other in high school but never dated, lost touch after graduation and, thanks to the Internet, found each other some years later.
Taa-da! Love!
That’s the short version of the Erin and Leif’s story that culminated in their recent wedding at Sky Prairie on top of the HoDo with a super, classic-film themed reception at the Plains Art Museum (Leif is a film maker, afterall).
Penny and I had such an awesome time shooting Terri and Pete’s wedding in Twin Valley, Minn. on Saturday. Here’s a quick self portrait from the dance.
I had so much fun taking photographs of Sebastian, who, with his mom, came all the way from the twin cities to visit us. For the most part, the photos I’m showing are pretty somber… Sebastian is a pretty fun, happy-go-lucky kid, but he had this incredible serious face that I just have to share with everyone.

Angie and Jason are yet another wonderful example of how cool people are in West Fargo… something I never realized until I actually started working in this small city. The majority of people I’ve met here have the greatest sense of humor, close family ties and an awesome sense of self… and, Angie and Jason (now twin cities transplants) are no exception. There wedding was held at Lutheran Church of the Cross with a reception at the lovely Courtyard by Marriot in Moorhead. Jay and I had a blast!
