Winter Thaw (a.k.a. Red River Valley Photographers Summit I)
March 13th, 2008 Posted in MilestonersFor the longest time, Dave and I have hoping to form a better connection with regional photographers. So, last Friday, we hosted a little get together at our studio to do just that. We weren’t quite sure what would happen if we put 40ish photographers in a room and asked them to talk shop, but, to our pleasant surprise, it turned out pretty well. Not only did we learn that photojournalists, portrait photographers and commercial photogs can get along, we also realized how goofy we all really are. We had so much fun, and hope we can all get together soon (and maybe add more to the mix).
Now, the photos!
CoryAnn of AC Ellis Photography was in possession of the infamous traveling shovel. So, naturally, we had to take tons of photos with it.
