Josh and I spent a good part of our New Year’s Eve celebrating the dawn of the new year in style with Jessica and Ben at Peace Lutheran Church in Fargo followed by a reception at the Avalon. So what did the happy couple do to make their day unique?

How about disc golf at the reception.

You heard me. I don’t normally end up shooting too many sports photos at weddings but this was a fun change! Ben is a big disc golf fan so instead of the usual dollar dance, guests paid a dollar per throw with a miniature disc and basket. The discs were customized with their initials and if you made it in the basket they could keep the disc.
