What a fun day! Rachel and Josh were married at Bethel Church with a reception at Oak Grove’s Scheels Center for the Performing Arts. To say it was well attended is an understatement – there was a huge amount of people there to celebrate with the couple.

We had a great time throughout the day and tried a few unique ideas. This was the first time I ever made some portraits on top of a church. Here are a few photos from their day.

Spring Engagements

I love spring, especially when it comes to portraits. Yeah, it might be a little muddy outside, and sure, the weather is totally unpredictable, but, there is nothing like the feeling of spring to bring out the best in people. What did Bambi call it? Twitterpatted?
We’ve had a few stellar sessions lately. First up, Travis and Jenna up in Grand Forks.

My wife Sarah gave birth to an 8lb, 5oz baby girl on Wednesday! Her name is Lily and her big sister was very excited to meet her. Here are a few photos of our newest addition.

Superstar assistant photographer Morea is without a doubt the busiest Milestoner. She shares her artistic talents with us and her leadership talents as a hall director at Concordia College. Today she’s featured in the cover photo for the main story in The Forum.

Morea is also a member of the Tri-College National Education for Women’s Leadership Development Institute which was honored this week with a YWCA award for helping empower women.

Melinda and Joe

Our wedding on April 12th was extra special, considering we knew a good junk of the guest list! Back in the day, Melinda and Joe worked with us at the Forum. Currently, they reside in Salt Lake City where they both work for the Salt Lake Tribune.

Luckily, they returned to Moorhead to get hitched at the brand new Good Shepherd Church, with a celebration after words at the Courtyard by Marriot. It was a beautiful day with wonderful details and great couple!
